So you're roaming around. Your pet is behind you because of some sneaky rogue or so you think is out to get you or maybe you're just paranoid. You walk east and say hello to your favorite Winged woman with matted hair, the harpy. Or perhaps your best friends the locusts that just LOVE to rip you apart. Immediately you're bashed and down to 10% HP!

What do you do? You type O all rescue, but alas! The stupid pet has kicked dirt and is lagged cause you a horrible death and a yummy meal for the dastardly disastrous duo of locusts that we all love so much. Well suffer no more humiliations with the new toggle options Auto pet skill!

Syntax: Auto pet skill on l off
This toggle option prohibits your pet from acting on their own accord giving you complete dominion of their actions.

No more nuisances of the pet being lagged because it decided to zerk at the wrong time or kick dirt. Ideas? Yes no?

I'd rather pets didn't have any AI at all, tbh.

There you go, auto pet skill = disable pet AI. I couldn't imagine that being too too difficult... or would it be? Dunno.

Good idea.

I actually like this idea for a couple reasons. First, I like any change that lowers the amount of chance involved in pvp. Second, it's annoying when a pet or charm is busy at the exact wrong time.

Also, I just introduced charms to this discussion.

Find a pet that doesn't kick dirt?

It's not just dirt kicking. It's berserking, dirt kicking, things like that. Anything that has a lag tied to it can cause a death due to a failed rescue (cause pet is lagged) the problem with a pet that doesn't have dirt kick means it probably doesn't have rescue either.
