[Objects help] hold remove wear wield Syntax: hold remove wear wield Hold will take an object from your inventory and place it in your hand. This is most often used for magical items (potions, scrolls, staves, and wands) which must be held to be used. You must also hold a light source for it to be effective. Remove will take the object from your equipment list and put it back into your inventory. Wear and wield are both used to take an object from your inventory and begin to use it. Wear applies to armor, while wield applies to weaponry. All may be used as an argument with any of these commands, though some equipment may not be useable by characters of a certain race, size or alignment. |
