Aludra, Goddess of Love

It is rumored that Aludra has long remained watchful in the realms, allowing her young brother, Shailan, to oversee the realm of love and passion while off on dalliances with the other gods (and perhaps a few mortals). It is only as of late that she has felt the desire to be fully present, and bring forth her faith in a strong surge for the principles of Love, Passion, and Beauty.

The Goddess Aludra is also known as LadyLove, or The Mistress. When mortals are blessed by her manifestation, she appears in various forms, each of which holds an unearthly beauty surpassing anything they have ever experienced. In whatever form, the sight of her can slay a mortal instantly, and her manifestation always charms every individual that sees her. Once having gazed upon Aludra, no mortal can resist looking at her. None can raise a hand to harm her or even think to do so while in her presence.

Those who follow LadyLove are called The Ardent. Her following consists of all those who wish to revere and promote the presence of Love, Passion, and Beauty in the realms. Her following is usually made up of beautiful individuals who promote the arts and bolster Love in the realms. The Ardent hold festivals, celebrations, exhibits and feasts, triumphing all things of beauty and enhancing friendships, romances, and passions.

Her symbol consists of three perfect circles intertwined, representative of the three fold path. An older, less known symbol is an amulet with a crescent moon in a starry sky reflecting in the ocean below. Aludra has never been known to turn any away who truly hold love in their hearts. A comely appearance is common of her followers, but there have been several famous adherents whose spirit's beauty made up for the physical lacking. Her following spans races and alignments, although dark hearts find lust more desirable.

The followers of Aludra and Thuban do not see eye to eye. It is said that the two goddesses have something of a rivalry.
