In an effort to finish long-standing projects and to address the desires of the playerbase to have a greater impact on the world of Pyrathia, Sadal and I have come up with a plan that we hope will allow for additional levels of engagement.

We are offering up to 5 vnums as designed by the player at a 2 to 1 rate. Meaning for every vnum the player requests they need to assist Sadal or myself with 2 vnums worth of a separate project we are working on. We know mining coins - the former cost for adding things to the game - is boring, and they don't actually do anything to help the staff, so this is a new era of give and take. You help us, we grant your RP wishes, within reason.

Further there must be substantial RP explaining the addition/modification of the player requested vnums. It cannot just be “wouldn’t a villa be nice to retire in?” The objective is to encourage interaction and RP that will outlive your current character. This is, of course, subjective, and we will work with players on what is substantial RP. We are not trying to make this impossible but to encourage RP as well as refreshing the game. Changes and additions are subject to IMM approval before they are implemented - we are not trying to build anything overpowered or game breaking during this process or create things specific for your character (No Sadal’s Lucky Panties). We also just might not have free space where you are wanting to make additions.

Waging and maintaining a state of war is expensive for Factions and does not currently have any sort of benefit. We are hoping to provide a bit of a remedy for that within our means. As such, we are looking at adding/modifying existing areas to switch allegiance based on warfare. For example, the free city of Seaside might be reclaimed by the Empire. This will start small as we develop what is possible within the limitations of builders. Again, this is substantial RP. Not “oh I won one PK this is my city/area now.” Ideas are welcome but please be patient and understand there are things we simply cannot do.

We are telling you this now to give yourselves time to come up with ideas, contact us via the Google Form for feedback, and commit to your substantial RP. Sadal and myself will begin actual modifications to areas and assigning work in June as we both have large projects outside of SK this spring. However, we will be responding to the ideas sent in the form as soon as possible to make sure what you are asking for is feasible so you can begin your RP work in game.

As a reminder, a vnum comprises 1 room, 1 NPC (NPC or scriptmob), and 1 item. The maximum number of total vnums per player project is 5, which would require a trade of work on 10 vnums for an ongoing IMM project. To keep things moving smoothly, we would like to limit this to one project per player at a time. We understand that there is likely to be very high interest in this system, and we want to keep it as fair as possible. The Google form will have time stamps of submissions and we will be working through requests as they come in.

• 2 to 1 trade for player requested building projects rather than coin
• Fill out the google form
• Everything is IMM discretion but we will do our best to make your dream a reality
• Separate and unrelated to the Adventurer's Guild
• Be patient and use your imagination
