FYI, its not a good idea to tell the cabal leader of the cabal your trying to join, how to run his cabal through OOC tells. It will make me, and i'm sure the rest of the cabal leaders, give an instant no like I did last night.

Yep, the other big no-no in my book is a tell like this "OOC: when i ran this group...." Well, news is, you aren't, things change, deal with it. I can take an OOC question about why something is done in a particular way if they can't grasp the explination ICly, but I cannot tolerate someone trying to pull this stuff off and still find a reason to induct them, because it will usually bleed into affecting how their character acts around the leaders/members no matter how hard they try to not let it. So it is usually a flat out no and don't come back for those people.

I suggest joining a tribunal, like the peacekeepers, instead. Cabals really drain the fun out of the game with CTF.

I think that the rules say, level is no basis upon which you can deny someone.

The unofficial journeyman rule is pretty standard, if only because most characters under jman aren't developed enough. The idea is not to exclude characters who can't PK or can't level; the idea is to exclude characters who haven't yet reached 5 hours or done any sort of character elaboration. I myself was inducted as an apprentice, but only because I had logged ~80 hours by that point, and Aurius wanted to get me young.
