Not sure if this Topic is Derailed or not but w/e. IMO the best merc I have ever played was a Dwarf who speced in Khopesh and epee. Khopesh is a good damage dealer while allowing you to use a shield/blitzkreig, and epee is insane for parry,eparry and just tanking, I had it set up to where my dps weapon (khopesh) and tanking weapon (epee) were both highly enchanted. Though the character was short lived, alot like most of the guys I play, he was insane for what I wanted him to do. You also could take into consideration reach, if you wanted to play around with reaching weapons, a battle spear is awsome, along with any third row weapon, considering you can throw, spears and daggers you dont need to waste a spec into a bow unless you want to be wearing light armor and not plan on tanking much. There are alot of different options aviable for you to explore, the best advice i could give you is to master all the weapons you can and determin what you want to do on your own. Good luck.
