I think by now most people know what is amusing about Krychire maps by either IC or OOC means.

As for the question about city maps. Teron and Krychire do currently have them and they can prove quite useful to newbies or even older players that don't often go to those areas. Nerina and Exile are pretty easy to explore because they have a basic shape to them and they lack NPCs that will randomly attack or steal. Menegroth is the hardest city to learn because, lets face it, it's a maze. All you can do is explore and hope that eventually maps will be made for all starting cities.

One thing that should not be done, in my opinion, is use of an OOC map for all characters. Just because one character has explored all of the griffon island doesn't mean that your next character will instantly know all they need to about it. Such maps can be amusing for a player who wants to see just how much of SK they have explored over time, but they should be used with care to avoid use of OOC information ICly.
