All I can do is go by what was said by the staff during the event. If you're saying now that it's not going to be available to PCs down the road, great. It shouldn't be. It probably shouldn't be available to NPCs either, really, since it sort of invalidates the entire formation code and makes it extremely undesirable to play a class that can't tank for itself. |

Pretty sure you're wrong and he's going to give this skill to heavy armor priests. Because they need more things to make them OP |

Never let it be said that I -CARED- about mechanics. It's a game, it isn't that serious. I sometimes forget that, too; but in any event, bring on the swashies! Don |

in my opinion the most newbie friendly class would be Shaman a set of brass armor from city shops can work until Mentor all the curative spells to explore with, healing, cure poison, cure disease, cure blindness can create water and food can fly with devices and in addition refresh fatigue self buff spells such as sanctuary and spirit aura to boost survivability word of recall to get out of dodge can brew for homies it makes a great explorer and company in any setting |

Playing a shaman is like playing SK in slow motion. |

I'll go on the record by saying that GOOD games have some stuff that is OP. Including NPCs and equipment. Rock on, Sk. The only time there are problems with these things is when someone doesn't have it and someone they don't like does. |

Bad mechanics necessitate good players. |

I do not know why warlock was not mentioned. Sure they are a little squishy to start, but once they get their elemental and some certain spells they can pretty much do anything and are incredibly newb-friendly. |
