Quick and to the point:

Where would a newbie Necromancer train and level up in the Northern Wastes/Krychire?

Note I have finished the newbie tower and am now a novice.

This is really IC info and should be treated that way....

There are however, more than just the Teron goblins you can lvl off of.

If WagesofSin is a true newbie, being told to go somewhere without a map is not going to help, an alternative in this situation is to use the mentor command, the area command if you are in a pinch, or a combination of both.

Edited for spelling.

Naarn I'm glad you are looking to be helpful but giving out IC information isn't the way to do it. In fact that just encourages the proliferation of IC information through ooc channels. The more and more it is done the more RP seems to suffer.

If you really want to help, then give advice on how to learn these things IC. An example would be:

"Sorry WagesofSin that is an IC question but I can give you advice on how to find out IC. Next time you are logged in look at the who list, this is an IC tool, and look at the titles of other players. Pick out someone with a title you think would help a necro like yourself and ask them. Remember the titles are IC, so your character would have heard of them by their title. Also you could use the mentor command and find another from the Northern Wastes. This might be the best option. Either one of these options should work."

Now it is a bit long winded and I'm sure you could be more succinct but it keeps everything IC. That then helps set the mentality that things should be addressed IC and it might just spawn some RP. Again I think your willingness to help a newbie is admirable and hope you keep it up.

The only advice I can give thats not IC info...just walk around and open all the doors and type 'pract' every time. Sooner or later, you'll find what you're looking for. At least, thats what I did.

The best advice would be for you to use the mentor system. Just type mentor when you need help getting around and someone will more then likely respond.

Thats what the systems there for, enjoy.
