Hiya everyone,

I am relatively new to SK. Before I created my character, I read the help files, FAQs and forums. Now that my character has some time under the belt, there is one question I have about the forums.

Just what are these acronyms that people use?

Specifically, QQ and CRS.

Do I need to give a secret handshake to learn the secrets, or can someone help me out?

Slang/Acronym Dictionary Here

... Just for future references. Would have pretty much everything but SK specific terms. (Like CRS).

You'll run into a lot of spell-related acronyms/abbreviations in SK as well.

Examples:

DI/DH - Detect invis/Detect hidden
SA - Spirit Aura
SS - Stone Skin
MI - Mirror Image
RE - Resist elements

---

Some unique items have acronyms used.

SoD - the staff of demise

(I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of them at the moment)

---

ToM is commonly used to refer to a popular leveling area named "the Temple of Murder".

Don't forget the ones common to several role-playing games:

IC - in-character
OOC -out-of-character
RP - roleplay
PK - player killing

The only other common forum abbreviation I can think of is
CTF - Capture the Flag, a disparaging term for the Cabal Raid System

Cabal raid system/capture the flag? I am guessing that is rounding up the posse and taking by force some group's revered object (books? robes? rubber duckie?).

What is a Grand General Infernal? The Hellion Commander-in-Chief?

Pretty much it exactly

Cabals have thier relic (flag). Another group takes the relic, the loosing cabal also looses a chunk of thier power untill they get it back.
