Hello, when we enchant a piece of armor, and magical protection goes on it, does that amount of protection go on that slot, for example it protects the legs more if it's leggings, or does it go on overall protection of the wearer such as armor class, or both?

Overall in terms of spell damage reduction, and slot in terms of physical damage reduction.

MP on a piece of armor makes all physical blows to that piece of armor hurt less.

MP on -all- your equipment, including armor, containers, shield, and jewelry, is added up and the total is used to detract from the damage you take from damage spells.

The AC of your armor, however, does not change from enchant armor. (By the way, AC on two pieces of armor can be compared through the 'compare' command in-game)

I thought most people accepted the +1mp = +1AC formula.

But yeah, as a warrior, you want a lot of MP on your armor pieces because that will help you with melee. Total MP also decreases damage from spells.
