I think this belongs in the Bugs forum, but a part of me says there's something I'm not understanding about concentration.

Quote:
You utter the words, 'mosailla paieg'.
You manage to grab a hold of and burn a sleek, black lizard severely with your hands.
You barely glance a lean male bakemono with your flaming hands, burning him slightly!

You pierce at a sleek, black lizard's chest, causing only a minor wound.
You dodge a sleek, black lizard's attack.
A sleek, black lizard bites at your face, slightly puncturing your cheek.
A sleek, black lizard bites at your stomach, barely wounding you.
A lean male bakemono wields a crude iron spear decorated with several charms in his hand.
A lean male bakemono pierces at your chest, barely wounding you.
A burly male bakemono scratches you.

Overall, a sleek, black lizard has some small wounds and bruises.

You can't concentrate enough.

Is this legit? Fighting single enemies goes exactly as expected. Does getting hit by multiple people at the same time lower your concentration?

Each enemy added up to a maximum of 3 affects the amount of concentration required to cast spells. If you can concentrate while being hit by 3, you should be able to concentrate while being hit by 4, 5, or 6 enemies (unless bashed, which also affects the total limit on concentration as well).

Okay, thanks, so at least I was right that it wasn't a bug. So this means that getting attacked by one guy lowers concentration by x, getting attacked by two means concentration is lowered further still, and then getting attacked by 3 or more means it drops its furthest?

On a related note, I know int is the prime factor behind concentration, but does that go up at all as level goes up, or is concentration tied solely to int stat?

If a bard, concentration pool is determined by int and dex, but otherwise purely decided by int.

And whether or not you're currently affected by frenzy.
