You don't exist! :P

Kidding aside, this might be a bug. When you log out and log back in, does it still happen? Do you have anything in your client that might think it is spam and therefore removes it from the screen? Have you used other clients, to repeat it, to see if it is a client issue?

Definitely sounds like some kind of gag setup. If you say you've tried other clients then I don't know what to tell you. Have you tried telnet? :D I played on that, without color, for the first couple years of my MUD experience. If telnet doesn't fix it, it may be a bug as suggested.

This is likely a client issue, but maybe your player file is corrupted or it is a rare bug. There is an easy way to find out. Create another character and see if you have the same issues. If you do, it is definitely a client issue. Let us know what happens.

That sounds like a client issue, maybe something connected to an auto login/login gagging feature. You could also go into a room with someone else, do an emote, and see if they can see it.

I created another character, and I see him on the who list.

If I "say ugnot" it appears right.

Please not if I use a capital U it won't appear.

Just doubled check, I show up on the who list with MUDlet, but I really would like to get cmud to work

Type #trigger or #gag into your command line to see a list of triggers or gags set up. You've somehow created a process that hides anything containing your handle from the screen.

For example, you may have something that looks like

Trigger --- Ungot ---- #GAG

in which case you need to just type #untrigger Ungot

Wording needs to conform to whatever you've actually got in there of course, but it's a start towards figuring it out by yourself.
