Does the anti-hoarding system apply to staves/wands?

If this does come into affect at some point, I think it should be separate from the weapons/armor hoarding. (Doesn't apply to the rule of six) and should only address duplicate staves/wands. You should be able to have at least one of every staff/wand.

Maybe it should only apply to staves/wands one has multiple copies of. If you carry around more than one "wand of ultimate destruction" you run the risk of thieves. That way it gives people a chance to get such an item.

Meh. Limit inventory saving to 3 items with charges. Anything more just allows scarcity to be abused.

If you want a spell badly enough, you can go play a class that has access to it.

Good idea. Let's just wimp out casters even more then.

I agree with this one.

Scarcity is not abused. While I was playing my sorcerer I consistently located great items all the time. I could walk into an area and find things that would sit there for months on end. I owe it to the lower playerbase.

If you're going to attack items with charges then you should limit the # of consumeables like word of recall potions and heal potions too.

Good idea.

I've always advocated that inventory should be a tactical gameplay area and not a Skinner Box. The changes to enchant and hoarding code reduced the slot machine gameplay for weapons and armor. The progress should continue.

Three items with charges, six potions, six pills, and done. Now "loadout" is an active skill area.
