So I confirmed my email address and got 5 loyalty tokens, which was enough to get a 10% XP boost. Is this the way it works for all new characters? If so, that's awesome! Either way, I'm kicking myself for not doing it before I was Mentor. I'm not kicking myself for training Charisma... such a night-and-day difference for me versus my previous characters of 10-or-whatever.

You can also keep your tokens throughout various characters and their lifespan. The system credits them to your email after confirming. The reason for that is that if you confirm your email upon creation before entering the portals, you could create race/class combinations that are otherwise not allowed, using tokens. Such as but not limited to: Centaur Swashie or Rogue, Gnome Barb or Helion, Dwarf Sorceror, Minotaur Priest or Warlock etc etc etc...

I didn't want to make a whole new thread for something that related just to this. I also just confirmed my e-mail, but apparently I can't spend the tokens?
o You have earned 5 loyalty tokens with this character. o
o You can spend 0 loyalty tokens for this character. o
o You have 5 unspent loyalty tokens in total. o

XPboost looks like it'd be nice to have.

You cannot spend loyalty tokens on the character that earned those tokens. You can spend them on other characters you create, when you decide to create them.

Specifically you can use them on characters that you create in the future. They are called loyalty tokens because they are a benefit to people coming back to create a new character after they have retired their previous one.

That's a bummer. I guess I'm not too far along to just remake and get the XP bonus.

The XP bonus of loyalty tokens is not as significant as you might otherwise think. Knowing the class is probably at least 100% XP boost and knowing the areas you are leveling in is probably another 100% so the 10% from the tokens is a small bonus. Id advise saving them for some of the other more awesome perks myself. A special build or just waiting till your next character is much better use than re rolling to get the XP bonus.
