Of course, auto assist would continue to work against NPCs/creatures; it would simply be disabled against players. I disagree whoever started the fight would win in most cases, and I always disagree with anything that says treat PC's different from NPC's in the code. I'm all for slowing down combat, unless Finney gives everyone a personal lesson in Zmud scripting. |

If everyone was required to manually attack that would really give the group with the initiative a big advantage. I didn't say it equals a win. Also I see no problem with auto assist working with PC groups. If your friend is attacked you will automatically help, its that simple. |

No it doesn't, they all have to react the same way the people they are attacking have to react. I'm not necessarily for this option but it's not going to give the *huge* advantage you're talking about. |

Psh. Lazy bastards. So you want pk to be condensed even more, do you? Well, I suppose in the end it'll come to: You strike 3 times at xxx's chest and arms, doing a fair amount of damage. YYY hits xxx's head twice, doing UNSPEAKABLE THINGS! :/ |
