I agree with giving them 25 str and dex now. I mean if not who is going to hold everything for the melee chars who can't carry their own armor anymore if they use GS

Not a total crash honestly. Totally agree with the spirit disorientation giving the -1 to peak attribute.

Oh, I should probably bring this up.

Spirit disorientation on aged characters. My elf is aged and has 18 str now instead of 19. When I die and get spirit disorientation it affects my 19 str racial maximum, and not my 18 str newer racial maximum for being old. I assume this is true of all stats.

SD should be giving -5 to -10 to peak attributes IMO. It would go a long ways toward making death a bit more meaningful in SK. Maybe that way people can compete with necromancers and fatigue inflicted melee.

*ducks*

just kidding guys

Make nothing brewable. Make everyone use only slings. Still wouldn't crash melee like this fatigue change just did...

As the Implementor and I assume not really a player, I will chalk this one up to Dulrik not realizing that PK often happens in skirmishes. And we would already get people racking up 2, 3, 4 sets of fatigue. Which were literally debilitating as soon as they started hitting strngth, which happened after 2 "sets" of buffs. By sets, I mean both str and haste, so 4-8 total castings.

I guess we'll see how it goes.

I would really like to suggest taking a look at the duration of fatigue, though. Or perhaps giving light-armor priests a de-fatigue spell. Since cloth and heavy both get something.

Especially since casters do not have to deal with this problem on their charms/pets.

Yes, and I played an elf merc for 50 weeks prior to this. I have a good idea of what I'm talking about. And you think you have it bad as a dwarf who gets a 425 lb str limit, and is size small? Try running around with a now 275 lb weight limit and size medium.

The only caveat I have with the update so far is the self cast spells not causing fatigue.

I see the code is in place for spells like weaken and taunt to affect the peak attributes so maybe we'll see that later down the road, which is actually very good. Making taunt viable is a good thing.

Just glancing at the code, it would appear to be accounted for correctly.
