I manage to level and RP and have very few undeserved deaths.

The only issue I have with this guide is that a good portion of the points involve not only metagame thinking but OOC community awareness. The implication is that the best way to avoid PK is to break the standards. The result seems to be that avoiding PK is seen as a sub-standard method of gameplay.

More importantly, it would be impossible for a true newbie to follow or even understand some of these directions.

The result is a situation where a certain elitism is promoted. There's nothing inherently wrong with that, but it should say as much on the tin. I guess it does, sort of?
