Actually, Arthur from the latest of historians was actually a Roman. Arthuricus or something like that. The stories of Arthur did not come till over 100years later. It appears there was a person that resembled Arthur but none of his comrades or the circle of knights can be verified. Which most likely means that some decendent of Arthur wanted to boost the image of his lineage and made him a great warrior.

No. The vow's existed too long for there to be a sudden change. Something that could potentially be done in my view, though, is say that someone can give up their paladinhood and live as a normal person, thus have a family...of course, the only way a person can give up their paladinhood is by deleting, then they can roll up anohter character who's a descendant of that character sometime. This way, you can have descendants of paladins without encouraging mudsexxing. :)

So sort of like cabal HQs? Nah, rp whatever the hell you want... Priests shouldnt have spouses in my view, but it is very dependent on religion as is this issue.

Historically knights couldn't utter a word and be recalled to the saftey from battle either.

By my recollection, the reason paladins had that vow enacted was because of mudsex.

For my part, I think it's a good enough rule that applies. You can still mudsex, you'll just have to deal with the RP that will follow if anybody catches you. Besides, if you want to mudsex, why not just make a character with another class?

Were not King Taslamar and King Gerevan married?

Quite possibly, and no.

But you don't know whether Taslamar was a paladin, and the vow wasn't enacted by then.

The only paladins that can marry are paladins that have law immunity, have l33t equipment, and can threaten and attack anyone who questions what rights they have. I.E.: Ariacron.
