And I admire the logic that allows griffons to be sorcerors but not halflings.

Oh, griffon sorcs make a lot of sense. Which do you think is easier for griffons: Detailed weapon manipulation with their talons and quadrupedal stance? Or casting spells with their voice and bonus to intelligence?

Swooping down from the sky and clawing their opposition to death while mutilating them with their beaks.

Yeah, that's what griffons should be like.

Simmering in a pan of butter and a good deep elven wine is what griffons should be like.

I suppose my vision of halflings is more of craftly little people. The help file says they're obsessive and fanatical. I'd like to make a halfling sorc that is obsessed with perfecting his craft, obsessed with searching for knowledge.

If we're talking about halflings getting a new class, lets see them get alchemist first before anything else.

I voted that I really don't care about halflings, and I don't. I would like to see more classes available to more races. I think every class should be able to any race with the exception of light/dark based races and classes with opposing alignments. Griffon swashbucklers, giant rogues, all of it and why not? I think it would create more original RP while the drawbacks are only arguable superficially.

-Giants are too big to hide! (but with items and certain scrolls they already can)

-(place your argument here) and chances are it can be refuted.

Open the game up to more creative and original RP/PK combinations and I think it will add an element of mystery to the game that is much needed.

Maybe that's why we don't have them. Everyone would play one because they would rock so hard. Then we'd just have a mud full of halfling sorcs!
