This Bonanza was incredible.
I first want to bring up the Zhenshi part.
i want to generalize how things went down. The RP was started about what, 2 weeks before the event actually happened? This allowed for a lot of player created RP to occur. I would personally like to see more events that are set up like this. It was some of the funnest SK I've had. Trying to learn about what other people thought of the dragon rider, trying to find my suitor, getting my suitor dressed for the occasion. It was a fun week or so leading up to it.
Then the day of the event, there was RP leading right up to it. I had some guards attack me on the way in. but we got that all settled. Incredible diplomacy RP ensued. I wanna thank everyone involved in it.
On the topic of 'the fate of Zhenshi' being postponed, it was unfortunate but ooc calls us all sometimes. can't be too upset cuz we've rp'd a bit more about it to save it. Hope we can have a mini bonanza soon to finish it up.
I was unable to attend the coliseum battles & the Pirates of Everclear. Wish I could have been a part of the pirates. But a hangover and early start time didn't allow it. Hope that one was fun. Coliseum battles are always a must for bonanzas. I'll hit one sooner or later.

On to the festival of Luck.
The fortuneteller. She nailed it for me. It was awesome. I've found the npc before. But hearing it at the festival was more fitting than randomly finding them.
Valkarog (did I spell that right?) My god. The pot got so high! I was one of the last two with a pot over a hundred black. Second place doesn't pay very well. sigh. Still super fun. I'd like to see more gambling games in the future. Perhaps a place where you can bet npc's and play the house. it'd be really cool to see.
The perplection maze? It was really fun. Aside from the struggle at the beginning to get everyone equipped, I really liked it. (can't blame you guys for that though with the armor being missing and all)
I think it would be cool to see an even tougher maze with multiple types of puzzles. not just a single riddle. More complex, more types of rooms, tougher enemies. That would be awesome. Something that you would really need a solid group to get through. Perhaps have a 'throw all alliances and enemies out the window. You must survive." I really like the idea and would love to see it evolve. Thanks to all the imms that put that on.

The festival of beans!
I can't believe I was closest on the guess! Sheer dumb luck! I apologize to anyone that really worked to figure out the true number, as I just pulled my number out of the air.
But I was chuckling this whole event.
The food fight? It seemed a little buggy, but I might not have been playing right. "you cant throw beans here" was coming up alot, along with "That person is not here." when they obviously were. But despite these few flaws, I wasn't looking to win that. It was fun just to throw food at everyone.
The story telling was pretty fun. THANKS FOR NOT LETTING ME ADD TO THE STORY! *snarl* lol But it was awesome. Way to go Rowen with the well put together song.

I think I covered everything. I knew going into it, this was going to be one of the biggest GRP's that have happened since I started playing. And it did not disappoint one bit. I say it over and over again, I thank the Imms for all their hard work and support in improving the quality and mechanics of the game.

I think this the start to an incredible era in SK.

Note: didn't proof read.

Pretty sure Gomlyn did that. Or maybe she Douglas Adams-ed it ... Wasn't her answer 42?

at one point I did say "my guess is one bean, kaylia." But that was for the sake of price is right. Don't you judge me for my incredible guess! I had Sadal's blessing from the day before. I was so blown away though, for real.

The smugglers lament event did not go exactly as planned. The original echo was to get people to the right area, but then everyone was running around too quickly that I couldn't get a say or echo in edgewise. So I do apologize for the confusion on that and anyone that got left behind. The whole pirate thing was just to lead people into the new area, which is not just for Sadal followers. Meissa put a ton of awesome effort into making a casino so please go check it out and tell your friends!

As to the Luck Festival, I am glad people enjoyed the fortune teller. I was working on a tea reader NPC, but didn't get to finish in time as it was a last minute thought. So something to look forward to for another one. I thought having a few simple things available there in addition to the timed events would be fun for people who weren't into the dice game or came to late for the Leprechaun gold search.

Thank you to everyone who offered critique and suggestions. They are very helpful for us to continue to provide the most enjoyable bonanzas.

Both the casino and fortune teller made me stop and say, wow. That's neat

I was away on a business trip and missed it :(

I have brought shame upon myself and must commit seppuku.

But wait! Before you commit seppuku - we will be having another bonanza in early April! Not sure if we can top this last one, but we'll make a best effort. Stay tuned for dates!
