Immortal conduct can count for a lot. Especially when the game really has taken on the feel of a small town. And not a quaint small town, either. Like the kind where outsiders ain't welcome.

When the general ambience is such as it is, jokes can sometimes seem unfriendly.

We don't like your kind around here.

Sorry, couldn't help it.

I'm inclined to think perhaps more people just need to relax, stop eating so many sour grapes, be kind to one another, and allow themselves to have a sense of humor. Good-natured jokes are only going to seem unfriendly if somebody chooses to inject their own unfriendly into them. There's a lot of finger-pointing around here, and more people need to point at themselves.

Be a good neighbor. Let go of the negativity. Be the change you want to see. If we all did that, we'd be a friendly small town, now, wouldn't we?

For the record, I've communicated with b00ts and he has accepted my apology. I also assured him that first night that I would recommend his character re-instatement if wanted to un-retire.

That's all that really matters. Hope your real-life stresses ease up and your other chosen stress-relieving endeavors are more successful at bringing you joy than this last character was.

Best wishes to you.

Pretty sure that at least one staff member recently quit on account of how frustrating the playerbase was, not because Dulrik ran them off.

Either way, for the 1 time I interacted with Morton in-game, it was enjoyable. I feel like that mostly because I was spending the entire time deciding when to actually try and kill him.

Haha, I can see why you'd consider that.

It was mainly because I had a venerable-aged necromancer that really just wanted one last good killing.
