Zymel got hit with a hoarder flag despite logging 12 hours and getting by with less in the past. I suspect foul play but without anyone trustworthy to ask I don't see why I'm playing this game. I definitely won't be back so have fun.

Thanks for running around with Kyln. We did some fun exploration.
Maybe if we both catch the itch sometime, we could roll something up.
Take care bud. Thank you again.

Bummer. I'm sorry. They changed the code, so I doubt it was intentional. I know that voiding can sometimes hurt it.

I don't go looking for these posts, but someone pointed it out to me. So, I'll offer what I can.

I can verify that you were automatically given the hoarder flag for having almost 40 high-level items while your active/registered playtime for the month was less than 8 hours.

As someone else stated, regularly voiding out instead of actually logging out can keep your playtime from being fully recorded. So if you're done playing, definitely log out. Also, time spent actually interacting with your fellow players in populated areas is more valuable than say, sitting in a private room somewhere in the outer planes or wilderness or anything like that.

To reiterate, hoarder flags and dehoarding is done systematically so no staffer has direct control over who gets dehoarded or receives the "H". Thuban recently put forth a lot of effort and time cleaning up gear that may have contributed to false positives, but your instance happened after that meaning I can say with a slightly higher degree of likelihood you just had a lot of good stuff even if I'm not able to see the exact gear that was taken.

I'm sorry this deterred you from playing here with us, but I wish you well in whatever you decide to do next.

Nice try covering but I started logging everything considering how the staff treats players in the past few years.

I've voided maybe twice in the 12 hours I was on and I logout and back in, so my time spent in void would have been less than 10 mins in those instances. I also spend most of my time at the inn, maybe 90% since I'm often the only evil person on,

40+ high level items? I literally had 2-3 staves, the gear on my back, 8 vials, and 2 new items I picked up for the month without going over the item limit. There is no way that math works out since I also log my items at logout.

I know it's an automated system. Does that mean a member of the staff is incapable of tweaking items they created to impossible standards and weights in the system? I doubt it. That requires foresight and consideration for players and we all know Dulrik has taken a backseat a long time ago.

In any case, I just wanted to detail the circumstances better so this will be my last time here. Good luck to anyone still playing.

If you have a log with your final items worn and inventory and want to send it my way I would love to take a look, specially if you have all the containers as well.

I won't try to convince you of anything, but I can at least look at the items in question and see if there is something there we can reduce for others.

For future reference, in case anybody else might have the same question above... I'm fairly certain that tweaking an item that is held by a person, in the way suggested above, will not make those actual changes to the copy of that item that is currently carried. Typically the existing copy needs to be junked and re-loaded to have the new attributes. The suggestion appears to be that changes were made to the items carried by said player, causing them to lose equipment, but I *think* that's not actually possible.

12 hours in a month though?
12/30=.4
.4x60=24 minutes.
24 minutes per day is not, and should not, be sufficient “logged hours” for keeping gear.
You couldn’t give SK 30 minutes of your time every day? (I don’t think that’s enough anyway but that’s besides the point)
If you are someone who is holding onto good limited hoardable gear, you should, at the very least, be logging 1 hour per day averaged throughout the month. 30 hours a month is kinda steep, but easily achievable if you’re trying to commit to the game.

PS. Thuban lowered all the level requirements on a lot of gear? I think I’ve heard that only one person was looted this month. (One good loot at least. Kyln lost remaining consumables. But he had next to nothing anyway.)
What I’m trying to say is that hoarding is EZ again, just as I feared.
