I tried to log into my character, and my password suddenly does not work. I didn't change it, and I think I'd have had to make an effort to do so, so I'm pretty sure I didn't do it accidentally. Is there any way to restore my password to what it was before whatever happened happened? Or failing that, to get a password emailed to me? Won't help this weekend, since I'm not at work and I gave a work email address, but I would way prefer it to losing Lylasali altogether.

Has anyone else ever had this happen?

I can only guess (yes, guess, I don't really know) that you might have changed it accidentally at a place like the outpost where the entrance is PASSage, or something like that. I've tried shortening the entrance to just pass, and it asks me if I wish to change my password, maybe you hit: pass age or something along those lines.

I thought of this, too, but the problem is I think I have to input my old password, which I would definitely notice doing. I could be wrong, though.

Got an explanation, thank you to the IMM who helped me. Hopefully it will be fixed in a few days. *sighs relievedly*

I had that happend to a character of mine before aswell. My character's pfile got corrupted and the password no longer worked. Dulrik fixed the problem by reverting my character to a game save two weeks prior of it, to an uncorrupted state.

That's it exactly, Tragonis, and I hope mine can be fixed the same way. Keep your fingers crossed for me, please.
