Well there was no room descrips but did you look to see if there was more then one orc, possibly there was a respawn.

Same orc, there is only one eerie orc, shopkeeper NPC, doesn't respawn unless one dies.

thats been happening a lot to me lately with stunned NPCs. Its an old bug.
