I don't know if this helps, but I'm just putting this in the record that one day we can possibly figure out the weirdness that comes with resizing things. A sprite polymorphs into a medium size race. They let go of everything except a tool in their hand. Then they shrink themselves so that they would be small enough to wear everything, and put everything back on. They release the shrinkage which forces off the armor, but not the treasure items. Releasing polymorph finds the sprite able to wear their tiny equipment, but needing to shrink their jewelry.
Now I had done some polymorphing before this, so some things might have gotten screwy before this, but its hard to sort out. The main thing seems to be that item resizing is treated differently than equipment resizing. Polymorphing changes the person's size without changing eq, while shrink/enlarge on a person changes all the eq. It seems that then when releasing personal shrink/enlarge, eq goes back properly while treasure does not. Anyway here's the log of what I have in case it helps.
