Hellions and paladins used to get bless for this, now they get just about nothing.

You wear a mithril wristband decorated with a fox's tail around your left wrist.

You exchange the treasure for coin, donate it to your faith, and a prayer made upon your behalf.
You stop using a mithril wristband decorated with a fox's tail.

I remember trying to exchange one of those wristbands on Tari and going "...Well that was a waste."

Actually, paladins and hellions used to get the prayer spell for that.

That's what I meant. I guess I was thinking that they should get bless.

You'll need to get the attention of the Kingdom Director who is maintaining the area with that. As I'm sure you realized when you tried to use it, the prayer spell no longer exists, but apparently that script was not updated.

Why not just copy-paste bless into prayer? That way all those scripts have a benign failure until their maintainers can fix them?

NPCs still try to cast prayer in combat, too. I'm sure it was easier to just blank out the effect when you "combined" prayer and bless, but the spell itself should probably be removed from caster AI.
