I didn't notice it until Ardith pointed it out, but in this final strike log, the NPC who casts it is incapacitated and then casts it while incapacitated.

Can we also remove the final strike casting abilities of NPCs? I don't see any benefit here of them doing it except ruin a player's day. Even Somnium and Saisua do not final strike, and I would argue they are the biggest NPC mages in the game. And this is not an invitation to give them final strike!

Or get rid of final strike all together and replace it with a scry spell for PC/NPCs. Can even keep the touch of a spell that kills the caster, like astral projection that kills the caster, without a final strike flag.

I think it adds a random bit of danger . Had this happen to me before by npc and player, both had me laughing afterwards. Final strike also punished the player pretty harshly .

I can laugh it off when it happens while leveling. But when you spend some time preparing a decent kit, it is only frustrating.

Already been reported, still not fixed, stunned and incapacitated status don't register properly when caused by spells.
The npc will keep casting/attacking and will even switch target to the caster if they can reach them.

I studied the code for this and I think I found the origin of this long-standing bug. Will have a patch for it in the next update.
