No I had CON maxed out since creation.

Is your character perhaps half-way from birth to venerable? That's the point at which the first stat changes due to aging occur.

Please keep in mind that this happens halfway from birth (or age 0) to venerable...not from age at creation (which is considered "young") to age at age-death (or "venerable").

Nope, my character is to young for that, but I have solved the problem. It was an error on my part. I read a log of what happened, and I missed the part where I fled right before I died and lost a level due to not having enough XP.
