I bugged this in game, but thought I owuld post it here as well and see if anyone else had noticed it.

I was rez'd I rez'd and recovered my gear with consists of a lot of strength mods so it took my strength back up to max immediately which allows me to carry 392. After my spirit disorientation wore off I noticed I could then carry 402.

It looks to me as if it just added the point back on ignoring my max and giving my dorf another point of strength. Not that I'm complaining about being the strongest dorf in the game for awhile, but it just seems a little unfair to the rest.

Anway, anyone else notice anything like this?

Actually a Dwarf has a max Strength of 22, which allows for a max weight of 350.
Thats at level 0 however, so if your level 28 (28*1.5=42) with a max of 392
then yes, when the effects wore off and you got boosted to 402 their is indeed a problem.
If you are however a higher level, say level 35 you would originally have a max weight capacity of 402.5

that's actually the forumula? 1.5 * (level) + (weight based on str) = max carrying capacity?

Out of curiosity, how do you determine amount of weight due to str? (you stated 350 lbs. for 22 str, but how did you get that)

simple Im finishing up my senior year in college as a Math major, and my work specifically deals in Math and Stats

I started off level 1 chars, was very careful to be sure of their Current Str, checked weight, and did this for all the Strs from about 10+

goes somthing like this for the ones I consider important

Str Weight
18 200
19 225
20 250
21 300
22 350
23 400
24 450
25 500

of course thats all for level 0 which makes the level*1.5 quite easy to tag on

(PS: one reason I hate the idea of no numbers in SK, right now my life is all numbers)
(PSx2: Gimme My Numbers!)

I figured you did it that way. I was always too lazy to do that. Now I can calculate whether mod str bonuses are +2 or +3! (and yes, it does matter a lot, thx to GS)

If you aren't careful, he'll take out anything remaining that resembles a number.

[HP:Not dead] [ME: Not quite full] [PE:You are exhausted]

/me suddenly realizes this is a very real possibility (read: report) and shuts up.
