Despite wielding a landsknecht (a damn accurate weapon) with mastered weapon skill and no curses/dirt, i now miss attacks every once in a while. It started happening only after the last update. I've gone a month without missing a single attack, but all of a sudden i'm missing 1 attack every 5 or 6 rounds of combat. This is fairly bizarre, since my eq hasn't changed in the slightest. The weapon isn't enchanted to hit less, either. I've tried against low and high level NPCs and I still miss. At first I thought it was something i changed and couldn't remember, but i've heard others having the same problem... is this linked at all to the parry/shield block bugs as well?

I do remember hearing that weapons had been changed a bit, maybe the accuracy was dropped a bit? Also, did you hit an age tick? lower dex/str might make you miss an attack?

Might want to take a look at the housekeeper NPCs in Taxicala(or whatever.) I've had them dodge/parry all of my attacks for 3 rounds straight before with nothing but their fists. With out casting any spells I've had attacks go for about 20 rounds with one.... I don't know if their suppose to be that way, but they are some Uber maids. :wink:

no aging. 25 str 22 dex helf.

It's been said in another thread, but I'm sure it's worth repeating: the NPC parry bug with fists has been identified and fixed for the next code update.

The accuracy on a 14th century german mercenary has not changed at all. I wasn't clear on whether you are a hellion or a mercenary, but if a merc, then the changes to specialization would drop your accuracy slightly. Only missing once in six rounds of combat does not sound unusual to me though. It was more unusual that you were somehow never missing before.
