On the Shores of Death
You find yourself on the white sandy beach of a wide, murky
river. The sands at your feet are cool and moist, the soft trickle of
the nearby waters are a soothing sound. Somehow, though, it is as if you
perceive these things through a cloudy haze... They seem distant, almost
foreign, as if you were watching a play far away from you, observing the
scene through someone else's senses.
Obvious exits: e ne
A will-o'-the-wisp is here.

Odd...there have been no changes to the wisps or the oracle in a long while, so I don't know why they would suddenly not be working. But yes, that is the correct answer, so it should have worked. I will look into it.

Yes, this did happen to me once before, quite some time ago. The "rivers flowing to and from the center of the mountain" riddle, if I remember correctly. I never did figure out what the problem was. IMMs - if anyone does experience this again, what's the proper procedure for logging it? If I understand properly, bug/typo reports are logged by room number... but anyone whose answer to the death-quest is flagged 'incorrect' is automatically moved to a different location.

I've had this happen to me with the trapper quest...I used the same answer I've used before with previous characters but now apparently someone else comitted the crime

Too many people were using OOC info to answer that riddle. The correct answer is now a different answer than previously.

Did you say 'Oracle' then got a riddle you couldn't answer. Then saying 'oracle' again. That could be the thing.

Didn't know that, I'll have to try it the next time I am dead. If that is the case then I would have been flagged for question 1 and tried to answer question 2 because it was given to me. Why not have it repeat the flagged question 1? -/d
