I use the free version of Simple Mu and have planned on getting the paid version in the next few weeks, but I may try something else. I really, really, really need spellcheck. I'm not worried about triggers and stuff. I'm not doing a lot of multitasking and aliases work just fine for me. I want and need simple and easy to understand. It seems like there's enough to learn about this game without adding another level of complexity.

I use zMUD 7.21. I've been using it for ages since I realized how awful Telnet was and it takes care of my few needs. All I require of it for SK is a separate window for tells, auto logging, and more complex aliases than SK itself permits.

Code:
ACTION {%1 tells %2} {/system echo "%0" | write user pts/2}

That's how hardcore people send tells to another window.

I installed MUSHclient just to see grep's add on. I was using ZMUD but am not going to pay $30 for it. MUSHclient is the best free client I've seen or used.

BEEP BEEP. WHAT SHALL I RUN, CITIZEN?

"Let's echo the message, BUT, I want you to pipe the output into the wall program to send it to another terminal. How about the one that's actually my remote session on my iphone?"

BEEP BEEP. OKAY. I WILL SEND YOURS TELLS TO YOUR IPHONE.

What sort of things can MUSHclient do that SimpleMU can't?

Is it free?
