How do I get the split screen to go away when I scroll all the way down? On CMUD it just goes back to regular when you scroll to the bottom. Was wondering if there was some way to make ZMUD that way as well.

This thread is from 2006, but my guess is that there is no way, currently, to do what you're asking: http://forums.zuggsoft.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23005

If you're speaking of getting 'stuck' inconsistently in scroll mode even after you're done scrolling back & it keeps reactivating -

Question - do you have a browser window open? If so, click somewhere on the menu of the browser, and go back to your c/zmud and see if it clears the issue for you.
Peplyn's player may be able to explain this muck better, but it certainly sorted my issues out. If you don't have a browser open, I don't have another trick. If it works,
thank Pep's player.

When you've scrolled up or down and that split line first appears, if you want it to go away you can either:

1) Click on the little square button with the dash that's under the vertical scrollbar on the bottom right or

2) Press your middle mouse button, assuming your mouse has a wheel that when pressed acts like a button.

If it's the same as zmud, ctrl+z should do the trick.

You're all doing the same thing the people did in the thread. I bet OP already knows these shortcuts. What OP asked was if there was an option to have the split screen automatically go away once you scrolled to the bottom. Regardless of how many different ways there are to manually make the screen go away, the answer to OP's question is still no.

Sometimes clicking that little box in the lower right doesn't work. Things just continue to get stuck 'below the bottom of the screen. If you have a browser open - try the above trick. Or close the browser and the client and restart the client (and not restart the browser) would also work, but probably not ideal.

As the other folk mentioned, I don't think there's just a way to turn off the ability to toggle the scroll back on or off manually. Essentially with this browser glitch, the scroll-back gets stuck perma-on, regardless of clicking on the lower right button.

Maybe I'm just... thinking too simply. Can't you just hit your scroll lock button on your keyboard? Sorry for the late response!
