They seem to have permanently blocked the IPs of anybody who was voting at the start of this month, as far as I can tell.

Not sure there's anything we can do about it.

I already explained how [REDACTED] their comments about the vote count was. Their comment about "a mud with 8 players" or whatever, when Kirsenvar poked them was nonsensical. We have 20 people during primetime, on a game that doesn't allow multiplaying alts (a lot of games have inflated WHO counts due to alts/multiplaying). Even if we DID only have 8 players, the 60 votes in 36+ hours wasn't even all that strange.

Well I wasn't here in the beginning of the month but I've been voting every day since I came and it seems to be counting my votes. Hopefully that helps a bit.

They don't seem to be counting my votes either.

I can't help but think they either chose to believe some complaint from a hater who was mad to see our activity up again, or perhaps have a personal tie to one of the other muds that was bumped down by our activity, and rather than engage us professionally, just decided to drop a nuke. Why should they care? No skin off their nose.

This was my thought. I'm sure the top 5~ on the site are used to always being the top 5, and I wouldn't be surprised if the admin of the site play one of those games and don't like seeing random games pop up and disrupt the status quo, even if just for a few days. Or maybe just one of those games reported us and TMS decided to act on it.

The "a game with 8 players" thing just sounded so salty.

Oh look, I just went and logged on the #4 game, Realms of Despair.

WOW, 88 PEOPLE LOGGED ON....wait....

We need to implement multiplaying obviously. Let us make our own 9 person formations. We'll have "50 players logged on" in no time.

Keep in mind that your vote has never incremented your count on the list immediately. The counts for all MUDS are updated on a periodic basis.

Wish this were the case, but it definitely seems like votes from some IPs are blocked. Count didn't move for a couple of days even though I and the five other people I asked had voted at least once in that period.

Just an aside.... I would like to request that, should we have issues with TMS in the coming moths, that the players do not contact them.

Once they responded to Kirsenvar, they refused to discuss the matter again, with the staff.

I understand and appreciate that you all want to advocate for the game on our behalf, but it is not productive when they won't talk to the admins.

Maybe they’re doing something unethical then , they responded to two from me.
