A long time ago, I saw this cartoon movie in church where this dude named David used a sling to fight a giant. What a noob, if that giant knew what he was doing David would have been soooo very screwed.

I still remember when we actually had Ukyo running around Nerina with a giant spatula.

Poor Ukyou.

We also used to have Ashuram from Lodoss War with Soul Crusher and his heavy midnight plate hanging out in Menegroth.

Other builders later removed a lot of my early area influence on the game...

If Empire has Ashuram (Ashram?) it's only fair Exile would get Parn and Ayamao Didlith. But I see who's D's fav child now... This explains alot! 8)

Ashram was clearly the best.

In the US, it may have been spelled Ashram and that's probably how I spelled it back then. But using the Japanese alphabet, you can't spell it that way. It forces use of the character 'shu' and the actor's compensate by de-emphasizing the 'u' until it is nearly silent. There is often weirdness when you start with something Western-inspired, port it to Japanese and then port it back to English again.

For some reason Parn (Paan) and Deedlit (Didolito - ouch), never occurred to me to bring into the game. Also, I didn't actually make Ukyo. Another builder was just inspired by the Fist skills already in the game. (And later another builder was uninspired...)
