The old 16 bit zMUD works up as far as win 2K without problems, and in XP with a few compatibility tweaks. It also works in Linux under WiNE.
Others around include MudMagic and FireClient, which are both Ok..
Just google "free mud client" and check out a few of the links that turn up.

Or you could look on our own webpage and its assembled list here.

Aha! But that would just be too easy!

I'm going to suggest that Gmudix be added to that list, I've tried a lot of clients for Linux and I found it to be the best.

Gimme a link Lakir?
I'm currently running zMud 7.05 in WiNE but that's not 100%. I'd like a Linux native zMUD clone. There's kMuddy, but that's nowhere near complete yet, and probably won't be until we're all on IPv8 or something..

I use GMud, my only problem with it is that the buffer is super crappy. If setting up aliases and stuff on MUSHclient wasn't a hassle, I'd probably use that instead. :/

Sorry, I don't think there is a binary package for it.

It is probably less complete than your Zmud running in Wine, no mapping, spell check, or buttons, but it does has everything else.

I'd recommend Atlantis over all OS X clients in that list.

I was using Simple MU on my XP machine, and loved it. On my vista machine that I'm to lazy to install something else on I've got Mushclient because SimpleMU doesn't extend past xp. I did a free trial of CMUD, the newer versions of Zmud, and it was ok.

Wish mushclient would blink when incoming text was there when it was minimized or in the bg.
