Whilst advertising methods and social networks like facebook, twitter and running our ad-banners on websites are great, we thought we'd arrange some rewards for the directly measurable figure in the game itself: simultaneous players online.

Since I know everyone wants to read about the rewards, I'll first explain how we're going to measure the goal itself. First and foremost, this will be daily. If we achieve a high average player count on Monday, then the reward will be active immediately on Tuesday. Also remember: the measurements for Wednesday's reward have already started, so once this kicks off you may never leave Shattered Kingdoms again!

Currently, we're getting peaks of about 50 players online (e.g. a bonanza weekend). Averaging the same COUNT value over the whole 24hr period we're currently getting about 20. The first goal for the rest of February is going to be an average of 25 players online for the whole day. It's also natural that as we grow, we'll be encouraging higher numbers, as long as they're achievable. This is very reachable - we want everyone to get a taste of the sweet rewards this bonus is going to bring!

Ah yes, the rewards! These amazing, highly sought after prizes will be revealed... once we achieve the bonus goal. They will occur in-game, so keep an eye out! We'll also add more as we think up new ways to cheer on all our active players. We're also looking into ways we can reward on a sliding scale, so if we start hitting twice our goal everyone can enjoy twice the reward!
