Interesting how they seem group-bound yet their attack "spells" are incredibly group unfriendly.

But wait... DWARVES can be bards? For some reason, I can only picture them doing a Cossack dance and slurring the words from "Morning Train (Nine To Five)".

Might have to look in to trying another bard, though. Thanks for the suggestion.

PS - Goldlantern. I loved BoF3. Take three guesses which was my favorite character. First two don't count.

I've found that having storylines with other people and working together helps. Speaking of which, if you want to play a bard and get involved with some of my chars RP PM me and we can talk about it.

Just make sure you get them to okay it ahead of time...I remember when someone made a character one day with the surname Deshen, claming to be Jefin Deshen's sister.

... From what I'm seeing from your posts... you know your stuff well enough. Your not a n00b. Your problem is finding something that will stick. Truth is, from what I've seen, your just going to have to grind it out. With the state of SK as is, you don't have much options. Level a char, RP a bit... if you get burned out, take a few days off and pick up where you left off. There is rewards once you level a char... but not much until that.

I don't like it, but thats just the way it is.

It's all about plugging in. My char stuck because I put up a thread saying, hey I need some RP, who's got something going on, and lots of people responded. I made a char that fit in and am doing quite well now, with my 28 year old expert half elf. Heh heh. Slow and steady wins the race.

I have a question... why can't you make a deep elf bard?

Probably because Bards are seen as happy-go-lucky and Deep Elves are not.

Quite frankly, I remember seeing threads asking this question. The only answer they could give was, "Because they can't".
Dulrik doesn't like Deep Elf Bards, I guess.

Once again. "There are none because there can't be."
No one seems to know the reason why and can only speculate.
I wish I could be a Sprite Mercenary...
