I wasn't being rude. Holy sensitive, batman! Handiness doesn't come into any sort of mechanical play, and nobody is going to notice but you.

So I was curious as to why you care enough to re-roll a character multiple times just to get a lefty. It was an honest curiosity.

Being a RP-enforce/rewarded MUD, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess the reason is the character's history and/or future roleplay reasons. Honest questions do happen in the newbie forum though, cubanoh...

And as others have said, in terms of combat mechanics, it makes no difference (although I think Finney mentioned a looong time ago that disarm on dual-wielders used to remove the right hand weapon first?).

I just asked cause I was rolling character and couldn't for the life of me get one that was left handed, I finally managed to get one after about 20 attempts. I already sent evena a pm and apologized for misreading her post.

I know I've made characters that defied this, but in my own character creations I seem to have a much easier time getting right handers when making light auras, and much easier time getting lefties when making dark auras. Grays also seemed to be a little more inclined to be right handed. I wouldn't be supprised though if this is just a coincedence/me looking for something that's not there.

I was curious so I skimmed through a few afterlife threads. I looked at a total of 11 threads that listed handidness of the character. 5 out of 6 darkies were left handed, and all five lighties were right handed. Obviously not a big enough sample to say much of anything, but maybe the big D has some outdated ideas about left-handed people being sinister.
